Each day we walk by faith as we continue to prepare for the radio station. We are producing many programs weekly in preparation for the radio launch. We have two main prayer requests for our radio station. The first is for the finalization of the registration of the station. Often things can take weeks and months when dealing with government offices. The final prayer request is for the permits and construction for the tower site. We need to get these things finalized before the deadline in April. Please pray.
Church Well
This past week we were able to finish our church well. This will not only be a blessing to our church but also to our community. We are thankful for TBM and the Wint family for providing the funds to make this possible. We had been praying that God would provide a good water supply, and God answered our prayers. It does have some mineral content but is safe to drink and is great for all applications, including cooking. We will provide a way for our neighbors to get water free as well. Pray that by showing God’s love, this will open the door to sharing the Gospel with our neighborhood.
Feeding Center
What a blessing it was to launch the Imani Center, where we have begun to feed underprivileged children. In one of the meetings with parents and guardians, a mother asked an encouraging question. She raised her hand and thanked us for providing food, but then she said, “More importantly than that, my child needs spiritual help and prayers. Will you help my child spiritually?” We explained to her that one of the main reasons for starting the center was to help these young people spiritually.
Ordination and Church Plants
What a tremendous blessing it was to ordain two men into the Gospel ministry: Pastor Alfred Komanya and Peter Kisieli. We are continuing to work with these men to start two new churches. Our church folks are excited to help in these new church plants. Please pray as we plant these churches in the next few months.
Faith Baptist Church
We have had a wonderful start to the new year. We have seen people trust Christ every week so far this year through the many different ministries and outreaches. Our theme this year is “Rooted in Christ.” We are endeavoring to work with all of the new converts to ground them in God’s Word. Please pray for these new Christians as they begin to serve the Lord and grow.
