Roberto Tirado Prayer Letter: What a Privilege It Is to Preach the Gospel!PRAISE

“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (Galatians 1:3-5) We praise Jesus for giving Himself for our sins on the cross of Calvary! Since the beginning of 2019, God has given us 20 new souls who have received Jesus as their personal Saviour! What a privilege it is to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Dominican and Haitian peoples and see the Holy Spirit work in their lives!

PRAYER

I have two health and salvation prayer requests that I would like to share with you. The first request is for Luchi’s husband Luis. Luchi has been in our church since our very first service. Last year, her husband Luis suffered a stroke and was treated for prostate cancer. Last week, Luis suffered a brain aneurysm and will have a follow-up visit on March 11. Please pray for his salvation and for a complete recovery. My second request is for Sara, the sister of my good preacher friend Leonardo. Sara’s heart is very weak. The doctors in Miami told Sara that they cannot operate on her and have basically sent her home to die. Please pray for Sara’s health and salvation.

Please also pray for the spiritual growth of our new converts as they attend our services and hear the teaching of the Word of God.

GRATITUDE

Ten years ago, we arrived in the Dominican Republic to serve our loving Saviour. We have been blessed beyond measure, not that we have not experienced challenges along the way. Our second house was broken into, and a few items were stolen while we were at church. Our first church building was broken into twice, and our back-up power supply and batteries were stolen both times. I can honestly say that the blessings of God upon our ministry and family have far outweighed the speed bumps along the way!! Thank you for your faithfulness in praying and financially investing in the ministry God has graciously given us to serve Him.

Elisabeth would like to thank each church and individual that sent remembrances on her twelfth birthday. Thank you for remembering her on her special day! God bless you!

For souls,

Roberto Tirado
