Roberto Tirado Prayer Letter: Eighth AnniversaryPRAISE

“These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” (I Timothy 3:14-15) We are pleased to report to you of God’s blessings on the celebration of our church’s eighth anniversary. We used the Bible verses above as the theme for our church’s anniversary to emphasize the importance of the local church in the life of the believer. The Iglesia Bautista la Gran Comisión (Great Commission Baptist Church) invited three Baptist preachers to preach our services, which we celebrated over two days. God used each one of these men in a great way. Ten precious souls made a public profession of faith in Christ in our special services. What a great blessing and responsibility it is to be an active member of a local independent Baptist church.

PRAYER

Please do pray for our new converts as we labor together to teach and encourage them to be faithful to the church of the living God. Please pray earnestly for our residency renewal and housing. Next month it will be time to renew our residency. The renewal process will require plenty of paperwork, various trips to different government offices, special insurance for each of us, and various fees and charges. We have rented our current house for seven years. The owner is now planning to sell the house. We have already begun searching for another rental in a secure neighborhood. So far, we have encountered very few houses for rent. We are always very encouraged knowing that God’s people are earnestly praying for us.

GRATITUDE

My family and I have been richly blessed by our Lord to labor with and alongside each one of our praying and supporting churches. We recognize your love and faithfulness to our family and are very appreciative of all you do for us. Your prayers and financial support of my family and ministry help us to serve Jesus effectively. Thank you!

For souls,

Roberto Tirado
