This month we are giving you a slightly different perspective on our church-planting efforts. We thank the Lord for the privilege He has given us to train our church’s converts and send them out to pastor churches. And now our Bible college graduates are sending us students from their churches. How rewarding it is to be able to train another generation of servants for our Lord! Please let us introduce to you several Bible college students who were sent to us from our graduates’ churches.
Bismark Oduru Mensah
Bismark was reached through the Fundamental Baptist Church of Fiapre, Sunyani, Brong Ahafo Region. This church is pastored by Rexford Aning. Bismark was an unsaved, but zealous, street preacher. He preached works salvation, but Pastor Rexford showed Bismark the truth of the Gospel. Bismark started attending Pastor Rexford’s church, and soon Pastor Rexford brought him to our Bible college. Bismark is now overseeing the Sunday morning services at the second church Pastor Rexford has planted in the Sunyani area.
Paul Afful
Like Bismark, Paul was a street preacher, preaching a false Gospel. Our graduate, Pastor Gyasi Boateng, showed him the truth. Soon thereafter, Paul joined Pastor Gyasi’s church, and eventually, Pastor Gyasi led Paul to enroll in our college. Paul has now been trained as an effective soul winner and is working on his English skills so that he can work on getting a diploma or a degree from our Bible college.
Dominic Somuah, Patrick Kumadey, & Isaac Boateng
These young men have brought much spirit to our Bible college, just like their pastor, Solomon Lamptey. Solomon’s pastor, Brother Frank Odonkor, learned of our Bible college through our Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference. Brother Odonkor sent Solomon here for training. Solomon graduated from our college and now pastors in Accra. Amazingly, he has sent us these three very sharp young men for us to train for the ministry.
Stephen Asamoah
Brother Christian Gafatsi pastors Heaven’s Praise Baptist Church in Bediako, Tema, Ghana. Towards the end of 2016, Pastor Christian won Stephen Asamoah to Christ, and Stephen started attending Heaven’s Praise Baptist Church. In January of this year, he brought to our Bible college one of his converts, Stephen Asamoah. Stephen has a great spirit, is active in his home church, and has a sincere desire to serve the Lord.
We thank the Lord for using our graduates to reach people, and we count it a double blessing to help train some of those our graduates have reached.
