Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: Pastors Reaching Others with the GospelYour support for missions is being multiplied here in West Africa. Men have been trained and sent out to reach others for Christ. Please pray for these men, their ministries, and their families.

Pastor Gyasi Boateng

“Praise the Lord for what He is doing at our church in Asawase. Obed is a teenager and has finished his soul-winning training. (Obed is the one holding the Bible). He went with me for soul winning and got the opportunity to witness to three children, and they all got saved. Pray for Obed to be an effective soul winner.

“My wife and I met her schoolmate, Mavis Obeng, and her brother, Ebenezer Obeng, in front of their mother’s house in Bantama. I got the opportunity to witness to them, and they both got saved. They promised to come to church. Please pray that they will make it to church.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Asawase, Kumasi, Ghana [Pastor Boateng graduated from our Bible college in January 2011.]

Pastor Christian Gafatsi

“I met Stephen at his house, and I preached the Gospel unto him. I told him that Christ is the Saviour of mankind, and he received the message and trusted Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour. Before the conversation, he believed that if he did good works and obeyed the laws of God, he would go to Heaven. But he learned that his good works and obeying the laws of God cannot send him to Heaven; but, instead, the answer is to trust Jesus Christ. Stephen has joined our church as a result of the message I preached to him, and he has been a member of our church for over a month now. Praise the Lord!” – Heaven’s Praise Baptist Church, Bediako, Tema, Ghana [Pastor Gafatsi graduated from our Bible college in January 2011.]

Pastor Jonas Osei-Owusu

“This week l met a young man called Collins Boakye. He was sitting under a tree. I joined him and preached the Gospel to him, and he told me he will come to church on Sunday. He told me that he is scared of going to church because many Christians bombard him with condemnation messages. However, my message about salvation has made him to know that faith in Jesus alone saves sinners like him.

“Kinsey Sina Johnson works at a travel and tour office. I visited her and shared the Gospel with her. She believed that her works of righteousness and obedience to the Ten Commandments would save her, but after the conversation, she realized from the Scriptures that she was wrong. She repented and believed in Jesus alone to save her. I wanted to take a picture with her. She did not allow that but testified that she has understood the truth. She took the Bible verses I used to share the Gospel with her and said she planned to share it with others.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Kuntanase, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Osei-Owusu received a certificate from our Bible college in December 2011.]
