Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: Lina's Mother Trusts ChristSpotlight on Team Ghana’s Church Plants – September 2014

Team Ghana1August 28 Marked Two Years of the Church in Bekwai

“Two years ago God laid it on my heart to go and start a church at Bekwai. On the 28th day of August 2012, my family and I and several soul winners from the Fundamental Baptist Church International in Kumasi arrived in Bekwai to start the church. We started a one-week crusade the night after we arrived. Many people made professions of faith in Jesus. Currently I have 26 faithful members coming to church each week, and I have trained some young men who are teaching Sunday school now. I thank God for this privilege.”

Team Ghana2I Witnessed to Lina’s Mother

“Priscilla, a very faithful member at our church, brought a visitor this past month. Her name was Lina. Dominic, one of my converts, witnessed to her, and she trusted Christ as her personal Saviour. Later that month Lina asked me to go and witness to her mother. My wife and I went with Lina, and we were able to lead her mother to the Lord. Praise the Lord! Also, we had a revival this past month at the church, and about 25 new people attended. They all made professions of faith, and 6 people were baptized.”

Richard Is My Substitute Teacher

“By God’s grace, my family and I are doing very well. I met Attah Kwaku and Janet at their house during my soul-winning visits. I witnessed to them, and they accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. They came to my Bible studies the following week. Richard has been a very faithful member for a few months. He is a great soul winner and brings people to the Bible study most times. Richard is also a substitute teacher for my Bible study. I am so proud of him.

“I have started a series on understanding eternal security, and my people are getting more understanding of the salvation message. My Bible study averages 15 in attendance each week.”

Team Ghana4A Catholic Got Saved After Church

“Recently on my soul-winning visitation, I met a young man named Elikplin. Elikplin was coming from the farm with his aunt. I went to the house with both of them. I was able to witness to them, and both came to church the following Sunday. This past month a man was walking by our church and was coming from a Catholic church. He stopped and listened to what I was preaching. He stood there until the service was over; then he came inside to ask more about the church. I witnessed to him, he trusted Christ, and he came again the next week!”

Thank you for your prayers and support for Team Ghana and for our church-planting efforts!
