Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: Good News from Three Church PlantsWe count the testimonies below as answers to prayer. Please continue partnering with these national pastors in prayer.

Pastor Otchere Boachie

“Michael Naab was reached through the church in Kunsu. Last year, he graduated from Hyles-Anderson College of West Africa, and he is now helping us reach his hometown with the Gospel.

We visited his uncle, Paul Derry, and helped him understand the Gospel. We invited him many times, but he did not come. Finally, after several months, he came! Now he is faithful to church and has completed our 12-booklet discipleship course. Recently, he followed the Lord in baptism.”

Pastor Rexford Aning

“Recently, I decided to go back and check on some of my converts who had stopped coming to church because they went off to school or took a job that conflicted with our church schedule.

It was very encouraging to see Ebenezer once again. He had been sick for a while after he was done with high school. Now he has started coming again after we showed concern. Appiah Gilbert was another person I went back to check on. He promised to start coming this Sunday. He called me after my visit to confirm his promise of coming to church. Nana Kwame and Akwasi Tawiah have also promised to come back to church. We thank the Lord for that.”

Fundamental Baptist Church, Fiapre, Sunyani, Ghana [Pastor Aning graduated from our Bible college in June 2012. He started the church in Fiapre in October 2013.]

Pastor Collins Agyei

“Madam Abena Ata, a member of our church, lost her mother. I was invited to preach at the funeral. My message was ‘Life Without Christ.’ After the message, about 40 people professed their faith in Christ as their Saviour. One of them, Oppong, was an elder from a Pentecostal church. He approached me and said, ‘Pastor, thank you for the message. I thought that speaking in tongues could save me, but I have realized that I was wrong.’ On that Sunday, the family came to church to thank God for the successful funeral. Two additional family members were saved that morning.”

Fundamental Baptist Church, Adwafo, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Agyei graduated from our Bible college in September 2010.]
