Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: Fruit from Information Center PreachingThe work continues! Here are testimonies from several of our national pastors.

Pastor Gyasi Boateng

“I traveled to my hometown to visit some of my family members, and I met Mr. Adams Ofori. He is the owner of the information center in my hometown. [An information center is a neighborhood public address system over which one may rent airtime.] He gave me the opportunity to preach at his information center. He was the first person I witnessed to, and the next day he visited our church. Please pray that the Lord would strengthen Mr. Adams’ faith and use him.

George (far left in picture) is a faithful soul winner of our church. He witnessed to his friend Richard Opoku (middle) and invited him to church. The following day, Richard Opoku came to church and decided that he will become a member of our church. Pray for him to grow in his Christian life. Pray for me also for more grace to do the work of God.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Asawase, Kumasi, Ghana [Pastor Boateng graduated from our Bible college in January 2011.]

Pastor Philip Gafatsi

“I met Azorkor Janet at Tsito, which is a village close to Sokode. I asked her, ‘If you were to die today, where would you go?’ She was quiet for a while, but then she asked me, ‘Why are you asking me such a question?’ I replied that I had a special message to share with her on this subject. She told me, ‘If one helps people, does good, and is faithful to church, then I believe that this person would go to Heaven.’ I took her through the plan of salvation, and soon she received Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour. She was very excited and asked me to come and preach to her mom who had been sick. But, sadly, the next day she sent me a message that her mom had just passed away. Please pray for God to comfort Janet and her family.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Sokode, Volta Region, Ghana [Pastor Gafatsi graduated from our Bible college in January 2011.]

Pastor Isaac Owusu Ansah

“Daniel Oppong and Hayford Mawuli are two soul winners in our church. They have been helping our church for several years now. We are planning to begin soul winning in a village near to our church and, eventually, to plant another church there. So please pray for us so that we can fulfill our vision.

“The information center preaching is working in the lives of the lost souls. Frimpong (in the striped shirt) visited our church in June. After the preaching, I asked for new visitors to stand. And, by the grace of God, this young man stood up and said that he came to church because of the information center preaching on the previous Friday. He is still coming, and I believe he will get baptized very soon.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Petrensa, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Owusu Ansah was reached by our graduates, Pastor Collins Agyei and Pastor Jonas Osei-Owusu. He is currently enrolled in our Bible college.]

Thank you for your support for our church-planting efforts through your prayers or financial support for Adopt-A-Village (#6150), Team Ghana (#6100), or for specific national pastors. Fruit is abounding to your account!
