Zach and Cassandra Foust Jr. Prayer Letter: From Coast to Coast--Quite Literally! We cannot say thank you enough for your prayers as we travel on deputation! Since our last letter, we have been all over the country and coast to coast, quite literally! The Lord allowed us to be in Maryland and California in the same week. Thankfully, we flew to those locations! In just the past month, we were able to be in eight meetings, with multiple Missions Conferences.

We started this month off in the state of North Carolina, where we had a great meeting on Sunday morning with Pastor Tom Walker and Zion Hill Baptist Church. The spirit of their church was incredible! That evening we were able to be a part of the service at Turkey Cove Baptist Church and meet Pastor Dave Edwards and his wonderful church family. On Wednesday, we returned to Grace Baptist Church in Marion, North Carolina, and spent some time with our good friend Pastor Eric Grindstaff. We are so thankful for their church and the blessing they have been to us!

That Saturday, we arrived at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Seven Springs, North Carolina, for their Missions Conference. We started off with a soul-winning time, where over 100 people came out to witness for Christ. The Lord blessed with many accepting Jesus as their Saviour. Over the next few days, we heard great preaching and had our hearts stirred for missions. We met some great missionaries and also had the opportunity to spend time with many of Spring Creek’s church members. What a giving church! We are so thankful that we were able to be there.

The following Sunday, we were at an amazing Missions Conference with Pastor Tim Kirchoff and Green Valley Baptist Church. They were a huge blessing to us! They really have a heart for missions. It was great to see old friends and make many new ones. An unexpected blessing was the chance to meet Dr. Dan Hummel of Beacon of Truth Baptist Ministries. He was the guest speaker for the conference. We came to find out that he was my dad’s first pastor back in the mid-1980s. He was very instrumental in my dad’s life, especially in his salvation. Only God could work out our meeting at a Missions Conference in Virginia!

On that Sunday evening, we were able to go to Faith Baptist Church of Broadway, Virginia, and meet Pastor Kevin Gerber and his church family. We had a great time with them. It was also great to show up to a church for the first time and find so many people we already knew. We left Virginia for South Carolina for a couple of days, where we were able to reunite with our friends from Spring Creek Baptist Church and also hear our own Pastor Wilkerson preach. It was a very refreshing time. We made new friends and met many good servants of Christ.

The last Sunday in February, we were in Independence, West Virginia, at Oak Grove Baptist Church. We were able to spend all day on Sunday with them and really get to know their church family. They really took such good care of us. It was great to see old friends from college and to meet their pastor. They have such a heart to reach their community, as well as to reach the world with the Gospel.

The next day we drove back to Hammond, Indiana, to be at our home church’s Spanish Servants’ Conference. My parents flew in from Peru, as my dad was speaking in the conference. It was great for us to reunite and spend a couple of days with them. They are now safely back in Peru, and we are once again on the road.

As you can see, the Lord has blessed us, and we have been very busy! We have a goal of raising our support by the end of this year. We want to get back to Peru as soon as possible and see more people reached for Christ. Would you pray with us that the Lord would continue to fill our schedule? Would you pray with us that the Lord would help us reach our goal?

Thank you for your faithfulness to our Lord!

Sincerely,

Zach and Cassandra Foust Jr.
