Jerry Wyatt III Prayer Letter: Start of Faith Baptist College!Kids’ Day

Once again, we held one of our Kids’ Days. What a wonderful time we had! Over 350 kids and helpers were in attendance, with 49 children trusting Christ as their personal Saviour. We are constantly reminded that children are the future of this country, and we will continue to strive to reach them while we can.

Radio Update

In January we started construction on our radio studio. This was really a step of faith on our part, as we still have not received the airspace for the radio. Please pray that the government would give us a frequency. We are also looking into the possibility of taking the majority share of an existing radio that is no longer in service and using that frequency as our own. Please pray that God’s will provide in His timing.

Ladies’ Meeting

We recently had an evangelistic ladies’ meeting near our church. We had nearly 60 women and children, and 7 received Christ. The next day several of the ladies visited the church.

Started Faith Baptist College

I have been burdened for some time about training the next generation. As I looked at the need to start churches and at some of the young men growing up in our church, I knew I needed to push forward in starting our Bible college. I wanted it to be more involved than monthly classes or a modular week of classes several times a year, so we began preparation for the founding of Faith Baptist College. We are meeting every week for four hours. We have started with 15 students and are praying that God would touch the hearts of others to get involved.

It was a blessing to have one of our supporting pastors, Pastor Greg Ogle, be a part of the founding of the college. We also are using the Teaching All Nations program, so it was a blessing to have Adam Ogle’s help in putting together what was needed to start. Please pray for these students. Please also pray that God would provide what is needed for the construction of Bible college classrooms in the future.

Big Days

We just finished six weeks of special Sundays. We had been encouraging all of our church members to bring visitors and friends for our special days. One of our big days was “Meat Sunday.” We had 480 in attendance, with 14 saved. We also had a special “Orphan Sunday,” which was run in conjunction with our Orphan Outreach Ministry. Many orphans came to church with their guardians. Our last special day was “Family Sunday,” and every family got their picture taken. These special days have yielded much fruit, and we are praying that these new people who have been reached will continue to grow in their walk with the Lord.
