Jerry Wyatt III Prayer Letter: A Wonderful Start to 2021!What a wonderful start we have had to 2021! Our church attendance continues to grow, and we have seen God’s hand of blessing weekly on our ministries.

Our family had planned a one-night camping trip about two hours away from our city. We had gone about 45 minutes out when our van started having trouble. We had to park on the side of the road while I called our mechanic. He needed to bring us some parts to repair the van. As we waited, two Maasai men came along to see what the trouble was. I began talking to them and was able to lead one of the men to the Lord while we were waiting on the mechanic. I am thankful for this divine appointment!

We were blessed to have Pastor Jim Green and his wife and daughter come to visit us. Pastor Green preached a three-night Family Conference. The attendance at the conference was great and increased each night of the conference. Our people are so hungry to hear sound Bible preaching and teaching. We even had several trust Christ during the conference. Through this conference, our families were blessed and strengthened.

We held our first Kids’ Day of the year. I was a little concerned when the day started out as a gloomy, rainy day. I was unsure of how many children would come out in the weather. We prayed that God would stop the rain; and, miraculously, as the vans started arriving with the children, the rain stopped! There were 274 in attendance, with 24 children trusting Christ as their Saviour that day!

I recently made a visit to Joy’s house, one of our church members who had not attended in some time. Her sister had passed away a couple of days before, and there were several family members at the house. I was able to share some words of comfort and then share with them the greatest news of salvation. The Holy Spirit’s moving was evident as I shared the Gospel with them, and their hearts were very tender. Four of them bowed their heads and trusted Christ as their Saviour.

Please continue to be in prayer for our visas. We will submit them for renewal within the next couple of weeks, and it can take up to two months to receive an answer. This is a matter of much prayer, as many, many missionaries are being forced to leave Tanzania.

Sincerely,

Jerry & Rachel Wyatt
