Jerry III and Rachel Wyatt Prayer Letter: A Busy Season! What a busy season we find ourselves in! The past month has been and the next few months will be a blur as we go from one outreach to the next.

Cam

We just finished a great week of camp with our church teens. The theme for the year was, “How Are You Driving Your Life?” with a play on driving motorcycles. We had a different one of our staff men preach for each service. What a blessing it was that some of the men who were preaching were teens in our youth camps years ago! As I look at these teenagers, I am burdened about the next generation of servants of God. Please continue to pray for these young people, as many decisions were made.

Medical Outreach

Several weeks ago, we held our mobile medical clinic, partnering with MMO and our local hospital. We were able to help 1,744 people during the course of the week with either eye care or medical care. Each person who came through the clinic was given the opportunity to sit down with one of our church members, who then shared with them the good news of the Gospel. We praise the Lord for the 693 people who put their faith in Jesus, the Great Physician! We will be hosting another clinic in August, so please pray that we will again be able to reach many people. Pray also that all the necessary approvals will be obtained for this outreach.

Permits

Our work permit and our resident permit have been approved! Thank you to everyone who has prayed for this! After many months of praying and waiting, we finally have our work permit in hand and are finalizing our resident permit. Please continue to pray, as our work permit is limited to one year instead of the usual two-year permit. We will need to apply for an exemption to allow us to receive the full two-year permit. Without this exemption, we will be required to leave the field. Please keep these things in your prayers!

Building Faith

We were excited to have our groundbreaking ceremony finally for the first stage of “Building Faith.” This will be a Sunday school room, as well as closets and storerooms for ministry supplies. This building is so needed, as our Sunday school classes have grown to the point where we can no longer fit in our classrooms. We praise the Lord for providing for this project.

Tanzanian Stadium Crusade

We are excited to be hosting our Tanzanian Stadium Crusade once again this year. We are excited to have our home church hosting the crusade again this year. Please join us in prayer for this tremendous outreach.

Morrows

We are so thankful that Montana and Kellie Morrow (and Landon) have made it here to Tanzania! It has been a long journey of training, preparation, and deputation for them, but we are excited to have them now working alongside us in the ministry here in Morogoro!

Lauren

A huge personal answer to prayer was that our youngest daughter Lauren realized her need for a Saviour and chose to put her trust in Jesus. It was my privilege to baptize her here in Tanzania in the same place where I baptized her three older siblings.
