Warren Storm Prayer Letter: Bus Ministries ContinueMay and June were very full months. We traveled 1,680 miles, helping 16 churches. We had our annual doctors’ checkups, and we applied for our passports to begin preparing for our upcoming trip to Rwanda, Africa. Our daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Gregg Schoof, and their six children are missionaries there and have served there for 15 years.

Bus Ministries Continue

In June, we had the privilege of meeting four new pastors while we were in the St. Louis area: Pastor Mike Palmani of Central Baptist Church in Granite City, Illinois; Pastor Sam Robinson of Arnold Baptist Tabernacle in Arnold, Missouri; Pastor Chris Shurilla of Victory Baptist Church in Collinsville, Illinois; and Pastor Brian Andrews of Amazing Grace Baptist Church in O’Fallon, Missouri. It was an honor to be able to help these churches with their buses and their Bus Ministries.

Divine Appointments

We had the privilege of going soul winning with a couple of the pastors. When we were in Granite City, Pastor Palmani and I had the privilege of leading two parents of bus kids to Jesus. In O’Fallon, we went on the Loyds’ bus route with them, and a couple in their early fifties both accepted Christ, as well as an aunt of a bus kid and another parent of one of their bus riders. What a joy it was to see God working on hearts!

God’s Dividends

In Burbank, Illinois, when I was helping Jordan Baptist Church, Pastor Griffin’s new staff member Cody helped me work on their buses. Cody told me he had been a bus kid at Valley Baptist Church in Mesa, Arizona, when I was there helping Pastor Cowling with their buses; and he rode on the bus that I helped fix. What a blessing it was to meet a bus kid who is now serving the Lord on a church staff. Almost everywhere we go, we meet former bus kids who are serving God with their families in churches here in America or as missionaries across the globe. God promised to bless those who bring the children, the lame, the halt, and the blind to Jesus.

Buses Rolling Again

God enabled me to help the churches fix 19 buses. Three buses, in particular, were down and not in service. With God’s help, we were able to get them up and running and ready for state inspection. We are praying for God to call more bus mechanics to help the churches with their buses. Please feel free to call me at 219-689-0011 if you would like a meeting or if you have buses with any problems or are looking for a bus. We want to be a help to you any way we can.

Grateful for Your Care

We are thankful for those of you who have partnered with us to help the churches and their Bus Ministries around the country. Your support and prayers are so appreciated. We ask that you pray for our son, David Highfill. In September, he is being deployed to East Africa for a year.

Yours for souls,

Warren & Jary Lynn Storm
