Tim Simmons Prayer Letter: Overflowing With Blessings!Thank you for loving our family, praying for us, and supporting us. God has blessed us with so many wonderful churches and friends who care about us.

Overflowing with Blessings

We were blessed in so many ways during the month of November! Our family had the joy of spending Thanksgiving in Ohio with my parents. We don’t get to see them as often as we’d like, so that was a very special time. We made some new friends, as we had the privilege to be a part of four Missions Conferences and five meetings this past month. One church in Ohio gave us several sizes up of clothing, mainly for our children, for on the field. Clothing is very expensive in Uruguay, and they wanted to be a blessing to us. I didn’t have enough room in our van for the clothes, so I ended up buying a car-top carrier to store them in until we were able to come home! One church in Texas told me that they would like to pay for our plane tickets when we move to Uruguay. Praise the Lord! We are thankful for six new supporting churches from this past month! I’m so humbled and amazed at the outpouring of love from so many people this past month.

The Seed of the Gospel

I had the joy of meeting Chris while out soul winning in Richmond, Kentucky. He had gone to church in the past and wanted to get back into church. He said he prayed often, but he didn’t know for sure if he was saved. He listened closely to the Gospel as I explained it. When it was time for him to decide whether to accept God’s free gift of salvation or not, he told me that he would trust in Christ later on his own. I gave his information to the pastor of the church we were with so that they could follow up with him. Also, Christa was able to present the Gospel to a group of young children using M&M’s as a visual to help them understand. There were at least four who claimed to accept Christ as their Saviour. Their teachers are planning on following up and making sure that they did understand. Praise the Lord that she could share the Gospel with tender hearts!

Family News

After being on the road since October 3, we finally arrived back to our home base in Milwaukee on November 30. We still have 10 meetings in December, but most of them are pretty close to home. We will be able to get the kids into a much more predictable schedule in December, since we won’t be traveling as much. Our daughter Emmalynn will also (hopefully) sleep much better at home. We are thankful to be able to travel less this month, and we are thankful for how the Lord has protected us in our travels. We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and God’s blessings as this crazy year draws to a close.
