Tim Simmons Prayer Letter: Halfway There! It’s hard to believe that we are already in March! It seems like just last week, we were starting the new year! Thank you so much for your prayers for our family and your financial support!

Halfway There!

Since our last update, six more churches have partnered with us in financial support! We were a part of the Missions Conference at Montecito Baptist Church in January, and they took us on for support. We enjoyed our time with Triumph Baptist Church last June, and in January they voted to support us. We had a great Missions Conference at Valley Baptist Church last October, and they also voted to support us in January. It was a blessing to be a part of the Missions Conference at Saguaro Hills Baptist Church in January, and they voted in early February to support us. We were with First Baptist Church in December, and they also voted to support us in February. Lastly, we enjoyed being a part of the Missions Month at Val Verde Baptist Church in February, and they voted to support us. We thank God for more financial and prayer partners to reach Uruguay with the Gospel! We are now at 54% of our needed financial support! I’m starting to see some light at the end of the deputation tunnel (hopefully, it’s not a train!).

Good Start to 2020!

We have had eleven meetings so far this year. Five of those were Missions Conferences and three of those were Missions Month Sundays. We were in six churches in California: Barstow Baptist Temple, Central Coast Baptist Church, Montecito Baptist Church, Coast Hills Baptist Church, Arlington Baptist Church, and Lompoc Valley Baptist Church. We were in two churches in Arizona: Saguaro Hills Baptist Church and Sun and Shield Baptist Church. We were in three churches in Texas: Iglesia Bautista Libertad, Central Baptist Church, and Val Verde Baptist Church. We originally had five meetings scheduled for Texas in February, but two of the meetings ended up getting canceled due to sickness and family emergencies. Our boys and I also got the flu in Texas. Thankfully, Christa didn’t catch it, and we didn’t have to miss a meeting.

It’s a Girl!

We are excited to announce that we are expecting our third child in July. We found out at the end of February that we will be having a girl! Ethan and Evan were not too thrilled at first when we told them we are having a girl, but they got over it quickly! Now instead of trains and cars, it will be dolls and princesses! Please pray for a healthy pregnancy, safe delivery, and a quick recovery.

We are looking forward to a productive spring, with 26 meetings scheduled through the end of May, 15 of which are Missions Conferences or Missions Month Sundays.

Tim, Christa, Ethan, and Evan Simmons
