Simeon Hudson Prayer Letter: New Church PlantWe greet you with much joy in the Lord and much enthusiasm for all that He is doing and is going to do. He has already blessed this year’s work and is adding more work. Below is a picture of a group of seminary graduates who don’t have a full-time work yet. Some have been called to pastor a church, and we are praying that the Lord will use one of these graduates to pastor the new church plant in Monteros, Argentina. Pastor Owens of Betel Baptist will pastor the church until we have a regular pastor. These graduates will do everything in the church to gain experience and have opportunities to preach. Through prayer and much effort, we hope to have a Sunday school and weekly youth service within one to two months. We have rented the building and are soul winning two days a week before we have the first service on the 18th of February. The church is one hour away, so pray for traveling mercies and a pastor for this new work.

We are faithfully working in the streets to bring Him glory and extend His kingdom here on earth. We have already put a big dent in our first 10,000-tract purchase for the year. We’ve given out 21 Bibles this month and shared the Gospel with multitudes. Praise the Lord! We had 6 receive Christ, and we stood praying as 3 more received Him!

The first-year anniversary of the church plant in Taco Pozo is this month. We were with Pastor Torres for 3 days at the end of October, and he is averaging 30. We will try to work him into the schedule this month, but with the new church plant, it will be hard. Please continue to pray for this work, as Pastor Torres fights against all the faulty teachings in his area. He has lost members because he preaches sound doctrine.

Pray for continued health for Susie and me; digestive problems are regular. Pray for travelling mercies. Pray for us to remain strong as we share the good news. It’s the only hope this world has.

In Christ,

Simeon and Susie Hudson
