A lot is happening here in Argentina. What a joy it is to be your representatives for His glory. I began the month teaching on discipleship and the Great Commission in the seminary. Praise the Lord! All the students passed the test. This is where we get our future pastors, missionaries, and pastor’s wives from, you know.
We began going to Cadillal with men from the church on Wednesday nights to preach and to go soul winning on Saturdays. We’ve begun preaching and soul winning in Chicligaste with seminary students on Thursdays. We’re excited to see what the Lord is going to do. Already many have been saved and are attending the services. The 4-day campaign at our newest church plant in Taco Pozo was fantastic, with a high of 81 at the Saturday night service. At the end of the service, 5 received Christ; other decisions were made also, especially in the area of reaching the world for His sake. Pastor Torres is doing a great job in this desert town of 15,000. At one of the smaller sister churches where Susie teaches Sunday school, we are helping them expand as attendance and tithes go up. Praise the Lord!
In personal soul winning, 13 received the free gift of eternal life. We stood praying as 3 received Christ, and we gave out 7 Bibles. We were also able to buy 120 Bibles at a great price and look forward to giving them to those who need the most important Book of all time.
Susie’s stomach problems seem to be gone, and my shoulder is a lot better. I suppose I don’t heal as fast as in the past. Please continue to pray for our health and for traveling mercies. Pray for the preaching and Bible studies to turn into church plants. All is possible through Him.
