Scott Christiansen Prayer Letter: Abounding in BlessingsAs you will be receiving this prayer letter near Thanksgiving, we wish to give thanks for many blessings we have seen in the last three months.

Family Blessings

On August 16, our son Amos married Lacey Hisler in Maine. On October 25, our son Joel married Crystal McClure in Michigan. We are so blessed that they all love the Lord and honored the Lord during their courtships. All are graduates of Hyles-Anderson College and plan to serve the Lord where He leads them. God is good!

College Blessings

We are blessed that we have the privilege of training Filipino students to serve the Lord. Debbie taught a college class, Basics in Reading Music, while I taught classes on Romans, the inspiration and preservation of the Bible, English grammar, counseling, and church administration. Our college students continue to win hundreds of souls to Christ in personal soul winning and every week bring their converts to church. God is good!

Ministry Blessings

So far this year, International Baptist Church of Dumaguete City has seen over 8,300 souls saved and 250 baptisms. We had a great missions conference in September, with Missionary Eddie Galyean preaching. We also had Pastor John Wilkerson, our sending pastor, visit our ministry in late September, accompanied by Dr. Stuart Mason, Bro. Billy Paugh, and five others. We saw firsthand Bro. Wilkerson’s pastoral heart as he met our church members and in his masterful teaching of our college students. Everyone in the group encouraged us as they preached, won souls, taught in our college, and loved our church family. God is good!

Thank you for the blessing of your faithful support and prayers. God is good—all the time!

Thankfully yours,

Scott Christiansen
