Ron Back Prayer Letter: God Is So Good!God is so good! I cannot believe that it’s mid-November and the year is almost gone. We have truly been busy down under. Since our last prayer letter, we had Dr. Mike Cox, the founder of FBMI, come to visit us for three days. He really enjoyed getting to see the church building and preach for us, but what made the trip memorable for my wife and me is the day we took him for a short drive around Warragul in the UTE (truck) and ended up getting lost for 40 minutes out in the bush. We had a good laugh over that one since we were pressed for time to begin with.

We have also been working on winning our neighbor girl, Sabrina, to Christ. She likes coming over and visiting with the girls and getting her nails done. She has very little church background, and we hope she will accept Christ soon.

Brother Blanchard and I are working on winning a man’s family to Christ. Marc, the husband of my wife’s school friend Donna, received Christ as his Saviour at his home, and we have been having Bible studies with him, trying to disciple him and get him grounded into church.

October 7, 2016, was our one-year anniversary service at Calvary Baptist Church of Warragul! We are praising the Lord that the church is continuing to grow.

The last week of October was our second missions conference. We had two Australian preachers preach for us. Pastor Peter Popovich started a church four hours from us near a resort town, and Evangelist Neil Smith came down from the Gold Coast for us. Both men did an outstanding job, and we had a record attendance of 46. Bro. Neil was well received by our people, and he skillfully challenged our people to do more for Christ through missions service and giving. Pastor Popovich was only able to be with us part of the time because he had his own church services to preach. Both men were honored to be preaching our missions conference because most Australian churches do not have guest preachers in. Bro. Neil was telling me that most of his preaching is done in America and that we needed to pray for Australian churches to have revival and to see the need to have soul-winning conferences, missions conferences, and revival meetings.

Please keep us in your prayers. We need to see more souls saved and baptized. We need God’s hand to continue blessing our health, and we need prayer for church attendance and membership growth. We are praying for you all and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,

Ron Back
