Roberto Tirado Prayer Letter: Return to the FieldPRAISE

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.” (Psalm 103:2-3) The Lord has truly been good to my family and me. The Lord provided for all our needs and gave us His protection. We arrived back in the Dominican Republic two weeks ago after a three-month medical furlough. My health is significantly better now than what it was three months ago.

I was blessed to have the opportunity to preach and report back to two of our supporting churches in North Carolina and one in Florida. I also presented our ministry to a church in Orlando.

Multiple individuals received a clear presentation of the Gospel the last two Saturdays, and Angela led a teen boy to Christ this past Saturday. Domingo, one of the men with whom I had shared the Gospel, kept his promise and came to our service Sunday evening.

PRAYER

• Please continue to pray for my health, as I need to reschedule a brain MRI (I don’t think they will find too much) and a nuclear medicine heart stress test at the VA hospital in Orlando.
• Please pray that Domingo will continue coming to our services and will receive Christ as his Saviour.
• Another prayer request we have is for God to raise up faithful co-laborers inside our church.

GRATITUDE

I would like to thank each individual and church that prayed for my mother and for my health. Thank you so much for all the encouraging emails and cards and well wishes. A special thank you to my sister Waleska and my father Ramon for opening their home to my family and me for over two months! Thank you, Eastern Avenue Baptist Church (Florida) and Parkview Baptist Church (Michigan), for your very generous love offerings.

For souls,

Roberto Tirado
