Robert Tirado Prayer Letter: Enter Into His Gates With ThanksgivingPRAISE

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” (Psalm 100:4-5) In this month of Thanksgiving, we would like to praise and thank our Lord for the 23-day trip we made to Florida in October and November. We were blessed and honored to be in five new churches, presenting our field and reporting back to one of our faithful supporting churches. Two of the pastors indicated that they will recommend us to their people to support us financially as their missionaries to the Dominican Republic. I believe that two of the other new churches will also take us on. While writing this paragraph, I received an email from a church we presented our field to earlier this year. This email indicated that in January 2017, they will recommend us for support! Amen! Thank you, Lord!!

PRAYER

Our people made the decision in September to move back to El Café de Herrera, where we originally started our church 6½ years ago. On Sunday morning, October 9, we had a total of exactly 50 people in attendance, with 13 of these making a public profession of faith in Christ! Amen! God is good! Please pray as we follow up on these new converts and those reached through door-to-door soul winning for baptism and church membership. Please also pray for their spiritual growth and faithfulness to our church services.

GRATITUDE

The late Dr. Maurice Paulson, my missions teacher at Hyles-Anderson College, always taught us that our prayer letter was our “lifeline” to our supporting churches. How true that teaching has been in our 22 years as missionaries! Thank you, Pastor and people, for taking time to read our letters and to faithfully pray for us. On many occasions we have received emails from pastors and church members stating that they are praying for our prayer requests mentioned in our letters. Thank you for the honor of partnering with you to reach lost souls in Santo Domingo.

For souls,

Roberto Tirado
