Parish and Arlene Javier Prayer Letter: God's Unfailing Grace Evident in 2022“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)

Year 2022

The year 2022 was a roller coaster ride with all of the testing and trials that we faced as a church. In spite of all these, God’s love and grace were unfailing, guarding and sustaining each and every one of us. It is amazing how God, through His sovereignty, protects His people. Despite these circumstances, God is still faithful, and we will continue to preach the Gospel and reach lost souls for His glory.

As I look back through the last few years of being in the ministry, I am thrilled to see how God, in His marvelous ways, brought people to our church. A few people left, but more were added. It is fulfilling to see how the ministry grows numerically, but I am more delighted to see the spiritual growth in our people.

Men Who Surrendered to the Ministry

I am happy to share with you that we have two young men who have surrendered their lives to the ministry and are currently enrolled in the Bible school for further training. Bro. Norberto Laurente and Bro. Joel Babula are faithful young men of our church who decided, through the leading of the Holy Spirit, to give up their secular college education and pursue God’s calling in their lives. Please keep them in your prayers as they follow God’s leading for them.

Missionary We Support

As a missionary pastor, it is a joy to have a missionary that the church supports visit your church. Pastor Arnold Espino and his family have been in the ministry for a long time. We were blessed to hear their update about their ministry.

Baptism

It is always an exciting moment to see someone get saved, but it’s more thrilling to see them follow the Lord in the waters of baptism. Recently added to our membership roll are Karelynn dela Cruz and Rhian de Paz Tismo. We ask you to include them in your prayers as they continue to grow in the Lord.

Family Update

By God’s grace, our family is doing great. Sofia will turn 16 come May 10 and will be finishing 10th grade this June. Hadassah will be 11 years old in March, and she is a 5th grader now. Our little Amelie is 1 year and 7 months old now. She loves to eat and follow Daddy around!

We cannot thank you enough for your faithfulness in praying for and supporting our ministry. May God bless your generous hearts!
