Montana and Kellie Morrow Prayer Letter: Our "Last Minute" God!I want to apologize for the irregular prayer letters I have been sending out recently. All it took was one missed month, and now everything is off schedule. Hopefully, this one will correct things. I did purposely delay this one, hoping that I would have received word regarding my work permit. In my last letter, I mentioned that I could have heard back sometime that month. However, I did not, and June and July passed with no updates.

Answered Prayers

This is a new month though, and I am thrilled to tell you that my work permit has been GRANTED!! I cannot begin to tell you what a relief and joy this is. Our 90-day tourist visa expired on August 5, and Kellie and I were at a crossroads. We honestly did not know what our next step was going to be. We were considering all possibilities and seeking counsel . . . but God! He always seems to come through at our “last minute.”

Our resident permit has been submitted. We will be shipping the container soon and finalizing the construction of our more permanent rental home! God is good! I can’t wait to see what God is going to do during these next two years.

Visitors

Faith Baptist Church has hosted two groups of visitors since we arrived in May. We will be welcoming our third group here shortly. The group that has meant the most to Kellie and me is our family. My dad, grandma, aunt, cousins Royce and Victoria, and Royce’s girlfriend Lexi all came to spend two weeks with us. They were missing Landon (and possibly us) and wanted to see the Stadium Crusade in July. We had a great two weeks, even though most of our time was spent with everyone being sick. We miss them dearly and can’t wait to see everyone again.

Landon

Time needs to slow down. Our boy is growing up way too fast. He learned to walk in June, and he has only gotten more adventurous. He loves shoes, keys and locks, books, and food; and he waves at everyone he sees. He is learning and discovering new things every day. Kellie can’t take her eyes off of him; otherwise, he’ll be sitting on the kitchen table. He has made friends with two boys at church that are his age. Language isn’t a barrier to them, mainly because they can’t really talk yet. It’s hard to believe that in just a few short months, he’ll be two.

Salvation and Ministry

My Sunday school class is going well. A lot of my students have been traveling during their Summer Break, so my attendance has been lower, but I am enjoying teaching them! Kellie has officially started teaching the Pre-K class, even though the age range is from one to five.

While I still can’t personally witness to anyone, I am faithful to pass out tracts and go soul winning on Saturdays. Between the first Medical Missions Outreach, the Stadium Crusade, and personal soul winning, Faith Baptist Church has seen over 920 people come to believe in Jesus Christ!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has gotten behind us these last few years, whether that has been through monthly support, a one-time financial gift, housing/lodging, a meal, vehicle repairs, and, more importantly, your prayers and friendship. Thank you for believing in God’s plan for our family. We seriously could not have started or finished deputation without your help! We would not be here in Tanzania without your support. YOU, through God, have made this possible!
