Missionary #6505 Prayer Letter: Leaving for EgyptWhat a busy and blessed time this is, as we are just three days away from our departure for Egypt! God has already performed several miracles for this trip, including securing a travel visa for my worker in Morocco (M___ will be joining us both to preach and to translate our messages). This was a long shot, because Moroccans are typically considered an illegal-immigrant risk in Egypt. We were also able to make a last-minute ticket adjustment for a man in our group so he could fly with us, which is almost impossible to do so close to flight time. God has shown us much favor going forward.

Please forgive the lack of a formal prayer letter just this once; it has been an incredibly busy month. Next month, I will have a great deal of exciting updates and media to share from our trip. I am traveling with three dear pastor friends, a faithful missionary evangelist, and a church layman who is a skilled contractor. We will be preaching in at least two churches in Cairo; the theme is “Christ Alone.” There are many with Coptic and Muslim backgrounds expected in these services. We have been asked to preach simple salvation messages to these people. Please pray for God’s power on us as we minister to them and love on them.

In the last month, I have seen four come to Christ in door-to-door soul winning. Please pray that God will give us many others in Egypt. We need safety and favor with officials in this country. Please ask for God’s oversight through it all. We need God’s wisdom and sensitivity to appointments as well. There is so much I could ask, but I will just end with deepest gratitude for the role so many of you have played in facilitating this work.

To God be the glory; great things He has done!

Gratefully in His service,
