This month and every month, there were so many blessings to be thankful for! God, on several occasions, placed it upon the hearts of kind people to provide for meals while we were traveling or with church families. While we were in Michigan, Arianna, being from Canada, was able to enjoy Tim Hortons, which is one of her favorite coffee shops; she does not get a lot of opportunities to get something from there. Oakley and Royce received so many lovely gifts from a loving church as well this month. We also received word that Valley Baptist Church of Oswego, Illinois, voted to take us on as their missionaries! But we are most thankful for you! Thank you for your faithful financial and prayer support. It is because of your generosity that we can continue the work we have been called to do. “We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers.” (I Thessalonians 1:2)
At the beginning of the month, our friend, Ryan Nelson, drove from Missouri to visit us while were in Indiana for a weekend. He and I went soul winning in the Munster area. While visiting, he excitedly shared what God had been doing in his life. Please pray for God to make clear the direction He has for Ryan. Also while in Indiana, the Roman family was kind enough to watch Oakley and Royce so Arianna and I could go on a date.
Sunday, November 15, we were with Pastor Dail and the people of Lakecrest Baptist Church. Arianna was able to be with some of her friends, Melissa Newton and Ivana Horton. It was great to meet many new friends and new missionaries and see familiar faces. At the end of the conference, the church showered us, as well as the other missionaries, with so many gifts that it felt like Christmas! Pastor Dail and his family also treated us to a dinner that night.
Wednesday, November 18, we were with Pastor Witkowski and the people of Community Baptist Church of Kimball, Michigan. We had the opportunity to present the work God has for us in Japan. To our surprise, that same night the church voted us on for support! To GOD be the glory! The following day, I preached for their Christian school chapel service. Later that day, Ken Jones and I shared gift bags and the Gospel with many truckers through the Truck Drivers’ Ministry.
Sunday, November 22, we were with Pastor Jake Gieseler and the people of Faith Bible Baptist Church of Lapeer, Michigan. We presented in the main church and the children’s church. We had lunch with the pastor and his family after the morning service. Later that night, we met more people. It was an encouragement to see the love others have for God.
Tuesaday, November 24, we attended one my friend’s (Zane) grandmother’s funeral. It was a bittersweet time to be with him and his family. Friday, November 27, we arrived safely back in California! We are so thankful for God’s traveling mercies. Saturday, November 28, Go Oishi and I were visitation partners for a bus route for Faith Baptist Church. We were visiting new contacts that were part of Faith’s Big Day service during the Thanksgiving holiday. Sunday, November 29, we witnessed Go and Danielle Oishi’s presentation at Clarity Baptist Church (pastored by Adam Marrujo) their last presentation in the U.S. before going to Japan.
Furtherance of the Gospel
During the month, a waitress, four hotel hosts, many gas station attendants, and many fast food workers received a Gospel tract. Most were already saved; others, unfortunately, rejected or did not get the chance to hear the Gospel. Saturday, November 7, was a slow start for soul winning, but several blocks later, the Holy Spirit led Ryan and me to Ivan. Ryan shared the Gospel with him, and Ivan received Christ as his Saviour. Thursday, November 19, Ken Jones and I, for the first time, experienced being a part of a Truck Drivers’ Ministry outreach, and many received gift bags with the Gospel. One of the truck drivers, Adam, was getting ready for bed but was willing to hear the Gospel. I shared the Gospel with him, and he bowed his head and accepted Christ to save him. Saturday, November 28, Go was able to witness to a new contact, Ronald, but after hearing the full Gospel, Ronald said he was already saved.
Please pray for:
1. Salvation for ready souls
2. New support
3. New conferences and meetings
With God’s love,
Micah and Arianna Bull
