We are grateful to share that Pastor Josh Jackson and the people of Grace Baptist Church of Batavia, Ohio, have decided to take part in the furtherance of the Gospel! “Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.” (I Chronicles 29:13)
In all honesty, we are going to be very transparent with all of you and not sugar coat this prayer letter. Because we are in Canada, we are doing everything we can to keep serving the Lord. In a figure of speech, our hands are tied with rules and regulations in Canada that are different from the United States. Recently, they have been lifting “requirements” and making them “requests.” The Canadian government is allowing a little more space, which will give us more opportunity to share the Gospel. During our stay, we have been attending Cornerstone Baptist Church in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. On most Sundays, we will travel three hours away to attend church for a Sunday morning. For the other services, we watch them online via livestream or tune in to other churches.
Lac La Biche was in a state of emergency due to flooding, and when we heard that people were evacuated from their homes, I grabbed a stack of Gospel tracts and drove to where the people were registering for a place to stay temporarily, and I found one person in charge. I gave the worker a tract and asked where all the people were. I was told that the people only came to register to be sent to another place. I was given directions, but I did not know where anything was, not being from Lac La Biche. Unfortunately, after about an hour of driving, I could not find the building.
We received an email from the U.S. Consulate General in Calgary informing us of a day to schedule an appointment. It was a miracle because they were not opening to schedule any meetings until June 30. All the glory belongs to Him! Thank you for praying. God has answered swiftly. We are scheduled for an appointment on July 16, 2020. The appointment is for Royce’s Born-Abroad Application and his passport.
We celebrated our daughter’s second birthday with family. Oakley has been a blessing to us, and we are so thankful for her. She has been a vital part of our team! We love our tiny team member and hope she has been, and will continue to be, a blessing to you and your churches.
Next, we will be with Pastor Ward and the people of Kikino Bible Church on July 5 for a Sunday morning service. This is a church on the Kikino Reserve half an hour away from Arianna’s family’s home. The pastor and his family live on the same private property where our family lives. During our stay, we have become better acquainted with the family and were invited by Pastor Ward to present the ministry God has for us in Japan.
Please pray for:
1. Souls to be saved
2. Fast turnaround rate for Royce’s application and passport
With God’s love,
Micah and Arianna Bull
