God keeps opening doors, so we keep going through them! Thank you for praying for our traveling safety, because it is evident. God kept us safe while making a cross-country trip from California to Pennsylvania. “Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.” (Psalm 85:13)
Tuesday, October 6, we left California for a long journey to Pennsylvania to be at a Missions Conference with Pastor Brock Henry and the people of Calvary Fellowship Chapel, an independent, fundamental Baptist church in the middle of Amish country. We arrived at the church on Saturday, October 10. Later that evening, we had a night service with presentations and preaching. On Sunday morning, October 11, Arianna and I taught the second- and third-grade Sunday school class. Later that evening, we presented the ministry God has for us in Japan.
Wednesday, October 14, we had lunch with the Lang family (missionaries to Nigeria) at Central Baptist Church. Saturday, October 17, I was invited to a men’s prayer breakfast and had the opportunity to pray with several men for missionaries around the world. What a sweet time of fellowship it was! After the prayer, it was time for soul winning!
Sunday, October 18, we were with Pastor Nolan Wynn and the people of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Holts Summit, Missouri. We spent the entire Sunday with them. In the morning, we sang a special and introduced our family. For lunch, Mr. and Mrs. Conner treated us, along with other members, to an all-you-can-eat buffet. Praise the Lord! In the evening, we presented and preached. After the service, we had dinner with one of the youth pastors and his family.
Friday, October 23, we arrived in Oswego, Illinois, for a conference with Pastor David Hemphill and the people of Valley Baptist Church. Thank you, Pastor Wilkerson, for helping us get this meeting. Saturday, October 24, I jumped on the soul-winning bus and was partnered with Mike, the church’s song leader. Sunday, October 25, Arianna and I taught a boys’ Sunday school class and the junior-age group. Brother Jorge and his family treated us to a delicious Mexican restaurant (most people think I am Mexican with my dark complexion). Sunday evening was presentation and preaching time! After the service, we had food and fellowship.
Furtherance of the Gospel
While in Pennsylvania, Pastor Henry invited me to be his soul-winning partner, and we knocked on serval doors in the town of Mercer. He witnessed to a lady name Bethany, who believed being saved was through an “experience,” so she was not quite ready to trust fully in Jesus Christ. Pastor Henry then had to pick up others, so he sent me to go alone. Many heard the Gospel, one rejected, and others were not ready to accept it. During our journey from California to Pennsylvania, two gas station attendants at separate locations heard the Gospel but had already received Christ. Also along the way, Randy, who was a Catholic, heard the full plan of salvation but did not get saved. In Illinois, Felicia had already accepted Jesus but did not understand that she only had to do it one time. After speaking with her, she understood it was one and done.
Please pray for:
1. Prepared souls to be saved.
2. Schedule to be filled.
4. New support.
With God’s love,
Micah and Arianna Bull
