Mark Siegwart Prayer Letter: Faithful Future“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” (II Timothy 2:2)

Over the last few months, we have had the privilege to speak to several groups of young people concerning mission aviation. These opportunities might not raise financial support, but I believe that both the prayer support and the seeds planted for future mission efforts are innumerable. The above verse has come to mind. I remember well, as a young boy, hosting many missionaries, evangelists, and ministry volunteers in our home. As my dad pastored and worked in the ministry, he not only set a great example, but he also surrounded us with faithful men and woman whom we could learn from. I hope that, in some small way, we can also encourage these young people to use their talents for the glory of the Lord.

Our Stationair is presently in maintenance for its annual inspection. We are having a couple complications, but we hope they will be resolved soon. This is the third aircraft we have used for training and evangelistic efforts as we seek to reach the uttermost with the love of Jesus Christ. We are considering purchasing another aircraft that would be more modern and would also provide a couple very big safety options. The drawback to the aircraft we are considering is that it would not be able to carry quite as much as our present 206, but the safety options and better efficiency of the newer airplane would allow us to take more trips, helping us accomplish even more mission work. Please keep this in prayer as we seek for wisdom in making the best decisions as we move forward.

The pastor in Cuba whom Laura and I support has been doing well. He emailed me recently with several encouraging Bible verses. He helps work with the youth of Cuba by using sports to help draw a crowd and evangelize. Next time we visit, we are hoping not only to bring Scriptures but also some soccer balls to help with these efforts.

As we continue to make more plans and overcome challenges, we are always so grateful and humbled by your love, prayers, and support that help us reach into the uttermost through mission aviation. What an honor it is to volunteer and serve with some of the finest servants of the Lord I know. Laura and I feel very blessed and are excited for the small part the Lord allows us to play in sharing with others the abundant life they can find through the love of God found in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your friends,

Mark and Laura Siegwart
