Mark Rader Prayer Letter: Anniversary SundayDuring April and May, the Lord has done marvelous things here in Peru. We have had amazing meetings, such as but not limited to, ladies’ meetings, men’s meeting, men’s football, Family Fun Night, weekly nursing home meetings, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Saturday institute nights. More people are out soul winning, more souls are being saved, and new members are being baptized.

Our Monday night institute for full-time Christian servants started the first of April. Our church has the privilege of facilitating the institute, with the involvement of 43 students from 5 different churches. Monday nights have been exciting and powerful. Our daughter Savannah is doing an excellent job of running the concession stand while her daddy teaches, along with others, in the classes. The students are growing and making great decisions for Christ. Our own church has 9 students enrolled. Of the 9 enrolled, 7 are men studying for full-time Christian service.

Throughout April and May, our church prepared for our church’s Anniversary Sunday at the end of May. It was such a joy to see our people’s involvement in soul winning, visiting others, and doing so much work around the property. We invited Pastor Richard LeJeune to preach for our great event. He did a phenomenal job, and he and his family we’re such a blessing to us. The Lord used his visit to energize our people. He came just a few days beforehand and commented, saying, “Mark, your people don’t go home. They’ve been here all day long for several days.” It’s been such a joy to see the Lord pull our church together in unity as everyone poured out their heart for the Lord during that weekend. Our theme for the day was “The Cross of Christ.” For the first time ever, our church choir sang. They sang “About the Cross” in Spanish. People were being saved all throughout the day. Many of our visitors have continued with us since that day. We had a record attendance that day, and 3 were baptized. An extra special blessing to me was to be able to baptize our son Paul.

On April 8, we celebrated Sarah’s birthday, and on May 15, we celebrated Mark’s birthday. Savannah, Paul, and Samuel all started their new school year. Sarah’s pregnancy is going well, and we might have extra goods news to report in our next prayer letter.

Please continue to pray for Sarah’s pregnancy and for our family needs, both spiritual and monetary. Please pray for our people, as we are doing a lot of counseling. Please pray for upcoming conferences as we reach out to other pastors and churches. Please pray for the faithfulness of our institute students. Thank you so much for all that you do for the cause of Christ. We see the effect of your prayers on a daily basis. Thank you for your faithfulness, love, support, and prayers. God bless you.

In Christ in Peru,

Mark, Sarah, Savannah, Paul, Samuel, Rebekah, & One More Rader
