September and October overflowed with blessings. Our church started a “Call Center” on Saturday mornings. Many were saved by phone, and visitors came to church. Our Brother Exodo Buitrago is doing a tremendous work with our Youth Ministry. They are successfully building the youth meetings and activities around soul winning. Our soul-winning program continues strong, and our attendance has risen higher than before the pandemic.
The first full week of September was our annual Pastors’ School for Team Peru. Our team leader, Pastor Zach Foust, provided phenomenal leadership, as we had to think fast on our feet to adjust to many last-minute changes because of coronavirus regulations. Despite so many setbacks, the Team Peru crew decided to press forward by faith, and God blessed. In the evening services, more than 500 were in attendance. During the conference’s soul-winning time, 232 souls trusted Christ, and 40 were saved in the services. During the last evening, 117 souls surrendered their lives to full-time Christian service. God is good!
The following week, our family went with us to the jungle. We just had a few work-related meetings, and the rest of the time we spent as a family, having fun and planning a better family structure for the future around Christ and His purpose. We had a great time coming together before Christ amid all the busyness. When we came back, we led a Family Fun Sunday with the families of our church, with an afternoon filled with games and teachings on the family. We received much good feedback from that day.
Please pray for our family and health. Please pray for two couples of our church that are finishing up their premarital counseling. Please pray for Exodo with the youth program and Solange with the children’s program. They are both beginning new chapters to take the church young people forward. Please pray for Pastor Zach Foust and Team Peru, as we started the institute this month.
