Mark and Kim Palmani Prayer Letter: Our 17-Year Church AnniversaryThe whole month of January was a time of preparation for our 17-year church anniversary. The church worked hard and prayed for our anniversary service on February 6. We were praying that the city would loosen the restrictions for physical gatherings.

The Lord blessed with a great Sunday for visitors and many souls saved. We challenged our people to invite their friends, neighbors, and loved ones. We had two services to accommodate the crowd and the first-time visitors. The Lord blessed us with over 50 first-time adult visitors!

Of course, the most important part of the service was the preaching of the Word of God. The Gospel was preached with power. The Holy Spirit brought conviction to sinners. We thank the Lord for the dozens of people who received the Lord Jesus Christ. The church members challenged themselves to continue bringing visitors.

The church ended February with a total of 61 first-time adult visitors, and 19 of those returned more than once. We pray there will be fruit that remains!

Recently, I was asked to preach a funeral service for the aunt of one of our church members. There were about 60 people in attendance. I had liberty to preach the Gospel, and about 10 people received the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour.

Please pray for the upcoming presidential elections. For presidents, Philippine law allows only one term of six years. We continue to pray for the leaders God gives to lead the Filipino people. Last September, we had an all-night men’s prayer meeting, with one of the main focuses being to pray for those who are in authority. We pray that God will give them wisdom and that they will give glory, honor, and praise to Him.

We are praying about going back to the States for a furlough visit; however, restrictions continue to fluctuate, so we are waiting for God’s will to be done. Please pray that the Lord will provide the wisdom, the safety, and the finances for our next furlough. As for now, our family continues to be safe, healthy, and busy serving the Lord.
