Mark and Kim Palmani Prayer Letter: Life Is Like a VaporThe months of August through November are typhoon season. In October, there was a typhoon that came through our city and stayed for almost three days. There was one neighborhood where three children lost their lives as the mudslide from the mountain came down on their home. The parents did not have time to rescue their children because it was so quick and sudden. Please pray that our city will realize that life is like a vapor, “that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

We are always looking for opportunities to get the Gospel around our city and neighborhoods. Family Baptist Church, the church we started earlier this year, is slowly reaching out through the home Bible studies. Recently, two visitors received the Lord Jesus Christ. We praise the Lord for allowing us to reach lost souls here in the Philippines.

Even during the ups and downs of COVID lockdowns and protocols, we continue to find ways to give the Gospel. Recently, three visitors came to church as a result of soul winning and visitation. We thank the Lord that they received the precious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Two weeks later, all three followed the Lord in baptism. They are faithful and interested in soul winning and joining the choir.

In November, we were able to fellowship with some American missionary friends during Thanksgiving. It was a time of great encouragement and giving of thanks for our family. Our family is doing well and staying busy with homeschool, church activities, and Bible college.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
