Luis Martinez Prayer Letter: 18 Years in Puerto RicoI Timothy 1:12 says, “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.” I pray that when you receive this letter, you are doing well, along with your family and loved ones. My family and I are doing well and would like to thank you so much for being a part of this ministry.

During the month of August, I get to celebrate 18 years of service here in Puerto Rico. I am reminded of the great honor that the Lord has given me by allowing me to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these wonderful people. I am truly blessed!!!

During the summer months, we have remained busy serving the Lord Jesus Christ. Recently while out soul winning with my family, I met a man by the name of Felipe. Felipe was a contractor who fell off a third floor and has not been building and has not been able to walk since. His brother-in-law asked me if I could pray for him, but when I saw him, I realized it was a divine appointment and that I needed to witness to him. Felipe allowed me the honor of sharing the Gospel with him and was sweetly saved. I told Felipe that someday he would be walking on streets of gold. Hallelujah!!!

During the month of July, my family and I were able to take a vacation and visit my wife’s family in Mexico. While in Mexico I was able to preach in several churches where souls were saved and baptized.

During the month of September, my wife will be having surgery. We would greatly appreciate your prayers concerning this matter.
