Lawrence Williams Prayer Letter: Reaching Out to the Deaf!
Greetings from Ghana:

“Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort . . . .” (Psalm 71:3) My family and I want to thank all of you for your faithful prayers and financial support.

Bro. Hall Visits Ghana
This month started out with a couple busy weeks of escorting Bro. Baraka (Rocky) Hall around Kumasi and surrounding areas. Bro. Hall is a deaf preacher who has a wife and four children. They are currently on deputation to come here to Ghana to reach the deaf. Bro. Hall was here for nearly two weeks, and during that time we were able to meet over 500 deaf people. Bro. Hall has a great passion for the lost deaf folks here in Ghana. Shortly before Bro. Hall’s visit, we started having deaf people show up for our church services. This last Sunday, there were 6 deaf people in the morning service. Please pray for Bro. Hall to be able to raise the support needed to come and help us here in Ghana.

Preaching the Gospel
This month the Lord allowed me to have the privilege of preaching in four schools and three villages. A total of 1,589 people heard the Gospel, and many decisions were made to receive Christ as Saviour.

Personal Soul Winning
I am always blessed to see how open and willing the Ghanaians are to talk about Christ. Recently while having work done on my vehicle, I was able to win one of the workers named Elvis to Christ. Elvis was sure his good works could take him to Heaven until he saw what the Bible had to say. Then he changed his mind and trusted Christ alone to save him. Just yesterday I led 2 men to Christ. Their names were Richard and Fredrick. They both were trusting their good works to get them to Heaven. After talking to them for about an hour in my office, they decided to stop trusting their works and put their faith in Christ alone to take them to Heaven.

Once again, thank you all for your prayers and financial support that make all our work possible.

Sincerely,

Lawrence Williams
