Lawrence Williams Prayer Letter: Back in America“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3) My family and I want to thank you again for your prayers and financial support. For the last six years, we have been able to serve as your missionaries with Team Ghana. As most of you know, God has called us back to America. We arrived back in the States on Tuesday, May 27. We cannot tell you how grateful we are to have had your support for the past six years. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of preaching the Gospel to over 102,900 people. Serving in Ghana has truly been a highlight experience of my life.

Preaching the Gospel

This last month I had the privilege of preaching at Osei Tutu Senior High School. There were 900 students in attendance, and many of these prayed to receive Christ as Saviour. I was able to lead the chaplain’s assistant to Christ, and he came to church and got baptized. Afterwards he sent me a text message, which read, “Truly salvation is not by works. Nothing will I hold on and preach about but the truth. I have purposed it in my heart to spread this truth all of my life.” Praise the Lord!

Kindergarten Graduation

On Wednesday, May 21, Fundamental Baptist Academy held their first Kindergarten Graduation. There were 23 graduates. The exciting part is the fact that my wife did very little teaching this year. She just oversaw and assisted the Ghanaian teachers, who did a great job teaching these children to read.

Arrival Back in the States

We arrived back in the States last Tuesday. Thursday evening we were out soul winning. Charity was able to lead a man named Eddie to Christ, Tammy was able to lead a 16-year-old young lady named Elizabeth to Christ, and I was able to lead a lady named Janelle to Christ. Praise the Lord for the power of the Gospel!

We will miss the people of Ghana and Team Ghana very much and have already shed many tears. God has been good to us in giving us influence in the lives of such open people. I can’t thank you enough for believing in us and for supporting our work. May God bless you for your faithfulness to the cause of Christ.

Sincerely,

Lawrence Williams
