Kounaro Keo Prayer Letter: Reaching the Children in Our CommunityThe rainy season in Cambodia has arrived. Praise the Lord! Although we welcome the cooler weather and refreshing rain, some areas around our church may get flooded, but we hope that this will not be the case. Our ministry is doing well, especially the Children’s Ministry. Many neighborhood kids come to play at the church almost every evening now after school. Since we have a lot of room, they enjoy playing soccer here. Some of them have started coming to our services on Wednesdays and Sundays, and many have expressed interest in the Gospel.

A week ago, my girls put together a small get-together for the teens in our church. They prepared snacks, games, and prizes for the meeting. Even our son Jonathan helped. Most of the teens in our church came, including some boys who live around the neighborhood. I was able to preach a short message to them at the beginning. Everyone enjoyed the small get-together and had fun.

Even though our children’s ministry is starting to grow, our village ministry has ended. The family that invited me to their home village has stopped coming to our church. It is a great disappointment, but we are still continuing to do the Lord’s work. This past Thursday, we had the privilege of celebrating the 4th of July with other American missionaries. We got to have fellowship with each other and play many games. We also thanked God for our great country and prayed that He would continue to bless it.

We had one adult man accept the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour. Thank you again for all your prayers and support.

For Christ’s sake,

Kounaro, Chorvy, Kimberlee, Priscilla, Christina, & Jonathan Keo
