Kounaro Keo Prayer Letter: Our People Are Still Witnessing to Their Neighbors“O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.” (Psalm 107:1-2)

Well, we are all shocked throughout the world by the lockdown of COVID-19. Almost everything here has closed, and we were told to stay home until further notice. Around this time in April, people celebrate the Cambodian New Year, but all the festivities and partying have ceased because of the quarantine.

All the roads leading out of Phnom Penh have been closed for one week. Now we have heard rumors that no one in the whole country has died of this virus; however, there were many infected with COVID-19 who have been healed, all except for one, who is in the process of recovering.

I have called and visited our people at their homes, reminding them to continue their personal Bible reading, along with their Daily Light devotionals. They have expressed that they greatly miss the services each Sunday. It is a blessing to hear that our people are still witnessing to their neighbors in spite of this quarantine. As you know, every Friday my wife holds a Bible study for ladies, and many are still faithfully attending it.

I would like to thank you for your consistency in your prayers and financial support even during this time.
