Kounaro Keo Prayer Letter: Our First Deacon“I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.” (Psalm 145:1-2)

Thank you so much for praying for our family’s safety during our flight back to our mission field. The weather here in December is very nice. Our church people did a great job while we were in the States. We had 99 in attendance for our Christmas service and 10 visitors. We had 2 visitors raise their hands for salvation; we will follow up on them.

Please pray for an ordination service we will be having on February 25, where we will choose one man, Thonm, to be the deacon for our church. This is exciting for me. Since the church started in 2004, I have not ordained any men because none of the men have proved themselves to be faithful. We have had many men get saved, but none have been faithful. They come and go. So this is very exciting for our church. They will first witness what an ordination service is and then what qualities are needed to be a deacon. I have taught this to our church people many times already, but they have not experienced the service yet. This is going to be exciting for our church people!

For Christ’s sake,

Kounaro, Chary, Kimberlee, Priscilla, Christina, & Jonathan Keo
