Kounaro Keo Prayer Letter: Exciting News!“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” (Psalm 145:3)

Exciting news! One of our church families invited me to come to their village, wanting me to start a church there. I led his in-laws to the Lord a few years back, and ever since then, they have had a desire to see a ministry started in their village. We did go a few weeks ago on a Sunday morning. It is about a three-hour drive from the capital city. We had about 50 people show up, and half of those were children. Four of the adults who came to the service claim to be Christians from surrounded villages. The teachings were basic, such as “Who is God?” Many of these people do not have a clear understanding about God at all. They think that everything is God, such as the water, the sky, the trees, their parents, etc. Along with our church tracts, I gave them three books to read: Do You Know God? Why Everyone Should Believe in Jesus Christ, and Why Everyone Wants to Live Peacefully and Have the Blessing of God on Their Lives.

We would like to purchase a pickup truck, a 2001/2002 Toyota Tacoma, which costs about $10,000. The road to get to their village is rough and dirty because it is not paved once we get off the highway. The rainy season is just around the corner, which will make everything even harder, but we are willing to go because they have a desire to see something started there. Please pray for this. We hope this is an open door for us in the future.

Thank you for your investments in the Lord’s work and your prayer. God bless you.

For Christ’s sake,

Kounaro, Chorvy, Kimberlee, Priscilla, Christina, & Jonathan Keo
