Kounaro Keo Prayer Letter: A Young Man Gives His Life to the Lord“Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.”
(Psalm 32:11)

I want to take this opportunity to give you an update concerning our village ministry. Since we have been going to the village once a month to preach, we have seen one adult man and three children come to know Christ. We praise the Lord for this. Many adults who have come to our meeting have misunderstood our intentions. They thought that we came to their village to do humanitarian relief, like giving rice, money, clothes, etc. Instead, they got preaching. Many adults vowed not to come back again. Now every time we go, we notice that the crowds have gotten smaller. However, we have had many children continue to come, as you can see in this picture.

We have a young man named Chan who just finished 12th grade in the public school. Recently, he shared with me that he wants to give his life to the Lord’s work. He has been coming to our church since he was 10 years old. However, his parents and siblings are not saved, and I know that they will not approve of this decision. Please pray for this young man.

We have had 28 visitors (21 adults and 7 children) come to our services during the past two months.

Thank you so much for your prayer and financial support.

For Christ’s sake,

Kounaro, Chorvy, Kimberlee, Priscilla, Christina, & Jonathan Keo
