Kounaro Keo Prayer Letter: Young People Taking Initiative in the Church“I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.” (II John 4)

Lately the young members of our church have stepped up and taken the initiative in helping out around the church and serving the Lord by doing the little things. After our usual Saturday soul winning ended, several teenagers stayed to help clean the church, sweep up dead leaves, set up chairs for the next day’s church service, and clean the restrooms, since the lady who usually helped clean the church had gone to another province for several days to visit her family.

Occasionally, maybe once every month, the young people gather together and have a small fellowship and lunch together at the church after the Sunday morning service. This past Sunday they did just that, and afterwards, they stayed a while longer to fold some Gospel soul-winning tracts. It was such a wonderful blessing to see them come together and pitch in as a part of the church and use their time to serve the Lord. Music has also become a part of the young peoples’ lives, and they often stay after the Sunday night service to practice a new hymn or a special song to sing the next week. They are slowly but surely improving and growing in their desire to serve in God’s church.

Thank you again for loving our family and the ministry by supporting us with your finances and with your prayers. God bless you.

For Christ’s sake,

Kounaro, Chorvy, Kimberlee, Priscilla, Christina, & Jonathan Keo
