Kounaro and Chorvy Keo Prayer Letter: Two Special Salvations“O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.” (Psalm 117:1-2)

Dry season has finally arrived here in Cambodia, and God is still good all the time. Once again, we are very grateful for your continuation in prayer and financial support. Without the local churches backing us up, we would not be able to move forward in our ministry on the field. So once again, we are grateful for every single penny and prayer. Here is a small update on what has taken place in our church during the starting months of 2022.

Towards the end of February, right after a Sunday night service, a 12-year-old girl named Pisey, who has been coming to church off and on for a while now, came up to my wife and asked if she could accept Jesus as her Saviour. Standing next to her, another young girl named Sara spoke up and asked if she could ask Jesus into her heart as well. Sara has been coming to church ever since she was born. However, she’d been putting off receiving salvation for many years and finally decided to make that important decision that night as well. Pisey’s parents, however, are deeply rooted in Buddhism beliefs, so we would like to ask that you pray for us to be able to witness to her family as well. Praise God! Our church family was able to rejoice with these two girls in their salvation the following service. We ask for your prayers for them to grow in their faith here at church.

These last few weeks, there have been a small number of our church people out sick with infectious diseases, including COVID-19. One of these was an elderly lady, whom we all know as Grandma Somnang. She is over 80 years of age and caught the coronavirus infection. Praise God, she is steadily recovering, and she gives all the glory to her beloved Saviour and Healer, Jesus Christ.

For Christ’s sake,

Kounaro, Chorvy, Priscilla, Christina, & Jonathan Keo
