Keith Baker Prayer Letter: Not Changing Desks in 2017!“Happy New Year” and a big, affectionate “thank you” for helping us with 2016! I can’t thank you enough for being so supportive. As for 2017, I am not changing desks. The first five weeks, I will be teaching on the Holy Spirit in our one-week seminar and then teaching Bibliology in our seminary. Personal evangelism will not take a back seat, and plans will be made the first week in January for the construction of a church building about three hours from where we serve. One of our key verses in this ministry has always been, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” (II Timothy 2:2)

As for the presidential election here, the outcome has been decided, as it has been in the United States. Some Haitians, like some Americans, have the “sky is falling” outlook because their candidate did not win. I plead guilty to feeling that way in recent history. I thank the Lord for the churches in the U.S.A. who prayed, fasted, and voted in November.

From December 6 to December 20, Theresa and I were in Georgia for wedding preparations and the ceremony for our daughter Katie. She and John Prescott were married at the Wrens Baptist Church in Wrens, Georgia. They now reside in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Having my father still on earth, 11 siblings, 9 children, and 10 grandchildren, I can get homesick. I praise God that Theresa and I could attend the marriage.

You continue to make our miles shorter and easier. We appreciate you.

Respectfully,

Keith and Theresa Baker
