Keith Baker Prayer Letter: Back-to-School SeminarOn August 29, we completed a one-week seminar opened to the public.  We conduct these seminars three times a year. Our attendance normally runs about 150, but we only averaged about 80 per day this time—I believe it had to do with the heat. This summer has been warmer than other summers that we can remember.  I call this our back-to-school seminar, and I was encouraged with what we were able to get accomplished.  We fed everyone, plus all of our workers, twice a day; and our teaching theme was the book of Romans. Here on campus Pastor Tim Bower has always been responsible for taking care of the oversight and superintending of our weeklong seminars, our Saturday seminars, and our day-to-day seminars.

We have been busy with a lot of painting and grounds’ work before the school year begins.  Pastor Harry Peart spearheads the children’s Christian school, and this year he has added a seventh grade and classes for the deaf.  The school buildings require constant upkeep due largely to the climate.

I feel I need to mention that both Pastor Bower and Pastor Peart are always progressing in church planting. I also am privileged at times to be able to help them in some small part with this.

The hot weather has not stifled our soul-winning efforts. Our Thursday Market Ministry Outreach has gone well, while our Saturday personal evangelism with some of our college students has resulted in 38 people trusting Christ this summer.

We are once again very thankful for your love, prayers, and financial investment in our ministry in St. Raphael, Haiti.

Respectfully,

Keith and Theresa
