Justin Williams Prayer Letter: New Platform! On the last two days of February and for much of March, we had an exciting project—a new platform! Through much prayer and some steps of faith, we were moved to rotate the auditorium to accommodate some more chairs, making it possible for families to enjoy sitting in the services together and preparing for the growth God has been giving Skelmersdale Baptist Church. We did most of the work ourselves. God has blessed with several of the men having tremendous skill sets perfectly suited for the work. How God met these needs reminds me of Exodus 35:21, “And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service . . . .”

The families of SBC pulled together and worked so hard on the project, and God blessed by allowing us to finish the platform. It warmed my heart on April 2, as we dedicated the platform and the facilities God had given us to the Lord, to see people praising the Lord, giving thanks, and taking many pictures surrounding the new platform as a great testament of what the Lord has done. We took a time-lapse video of the auditorium that you can view on our website, williamstoengland.com. Praise the Lord for His provision!

Immediately after finishing the platform, we were able to use it for our Mother’s Day services here in the UK and had two precious families dedicate their children to the Lord! We also used it for a soul-winning seminar, where we taught on reaching out into our community with the Gospel. Both special days were well attended, and God blessed with one saved and many great contacts during the seminar. Pray as we follow up with these families and continue reaching our community with the Gospel.

As a ministry moves forward with the Lord, the Devil does his best to discourage and put some stumbling blocks in people’s way. God used the building to solidify some relationships we’ve been prayerfully building, so the Devil has tried to get some sidelined in the work of the Lord. There are a couple of families that we are really praying for and hope to see back in church. Please pray for us as we try to lovingly encourage and serve.

On May 14, SBC is planning and preparing for a great attendance for our “Friend Day.” We’re excited to see what the Lord is going to do, so please pray for souls saved and visitors that day.

Thank you for praying for us! God is working here in the lives of people, and it is truly a joy to serve these precious people. Thank you for sacrificing so we may serve!

Yours for the souls of England,

Justin, Holly, David, Jonathan, Nathan, and Samuel Williams
