Justin Williams Prayer Letter: Giving to MissionsOne of my favorite books of the Bible is Philippians. Paul’s loving and encouraging heart expressing gratitude to the church in Philippi is endearing to me. The people Paul worked with, discipled, and guided through Scripture meant much to Paul. In Chapter 4, Paul thanks the church for their care of him as he preached the Gospel, baptized new believers, and taught them the truth of God’s Word. Because of their support, people were saved, and churches were established throughout the lands. Then the Holy Spirit, through Paul, gives a promise to God’s people; “. . . my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) God promised that He would meet the needs of those who gave to missions so that the Gospel could be preached.

Since 2004, my family and I have been in full-time missions. Over the last 14 years, God has blessed. As people have lovingly given so we may preach Christ, God has met so many needs among you who have so sacrificially given. Thank you for giving your time in prayer and finances so that we can reach people with the Gospel! Our hearts are overwhelmed, and we thank God for the fruit that abounds to your account!

Missions is for every church and every child of God. Skelmersdale Baptist Church lovingly and generously enjoyed our Missions Month themed “To the Jew First.” A wonderful family in Israel presented their ministry, and the need was shown to reach the children of Abraham with the Gospel. SBC saw the burden, and we have stepped out by faith to increase our giving to missions. To date, £9,610.80 has been promised for the next fiscal year. God has already brought more in than what has been promised for the first month!

More missionaries are able to preach the Gospel because of your support! There is a multiplication in missions that God blesses, and we thank you for your faithfulness to reach the lost at any cost!

My family and I enjoyed our brief three-week furlough. It was a blessing to be at Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church’s Missions Conference and spend time with Pastor and Mrs. Bane. We had the opportunity to report to our home church, Grace Baptist Church in Delaware, Ohio. It was so good to see family and friends and meet new friends in the new churches God allowed us to serve. We are safely back home and excited for the Christmas Season.

Pray for SBC as we look to preach Christ during this season of focusing upon His virgin birth. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Yours for the souls of England,

Justin, Holly, David, Jonathan, Nathan, and Samuel Williams
