Fall has begun with a myriad of activities and getting back to a schedule with school starting again. Our boys are working hard in school and doing well in their classes. It’s hard to believe our oldest David is in the sixth grade this year.
In September, we were privileged to have one of our supporting churches, Valley Baptist Church in Mesa, Arizona, with us for a couple of days. The group that came were such a help. They helped paint, landscape, and clean around the church; and they helped distribute many of the 1,500 tracts for Skelmersdale Baptist Church’s 5th Anniversary the following week. They were a tremendous blessing, and we’re so honoured to have great co-labourers partnering with us to reach people in England with the Gospel. An 87-year-old lady got saved while they were soul winning!
SBC celebrated five years of ministry in Skelmersdale. God has been so good! In five years, people have been saved, baptized, and discipled. God has given us a building for £1 (1 pound) per year. The building is slowly but surely being transformed from a derelict building to a place that draws attention and glorifies God. There’s much work to do, but we were so excited to rejoice in the Lord and enjoy a great day together, including a meal.
October was our Missions Month, and God has challenged us to give more to missions. Currently we support 4 missionaries. Over the last 12 months, 150% of what was promised to missions came in! Praise God! One of our men, Steve Elliott, who served in Israel as a missionary for a time, preached one of the Sundays and did a fantastic job. Also, we had Missionary Brian Nibbe Jr. from Romania with us, and he and his wife were a great blessing. We’re praying that God will enable us to add more missionaries to our missions family in the coming months.
We’re looking forward to a great Christmas season here. My family and I hope you have a Merry Christmas! Thank you for partnering with us so faithfully this year. Souls are being saved, and we are excited to see what the Lord is going to continue doing in the months and years ahead. There’s much work to do!
Yours for the souls of England,
Justin, Holly, David, Jonathan, Nathan, and Samuel Williams
