God blessed with a wonderful November and December. The months were filled with activities and events enjoying the festivities celebrating Christmas. The Christmas Banquet is one of the highlights of the SBC fellowship times. We enjoy a gift exchange and have a lot of fun with it. This year a college group from The Baptist College International in Romania came and presented a beautiful Christmas concert. Many came for both activities, including many visitors. Extra chairs were filled, and the church was nearly packed out! Pray as we continue following up with those who came.
During our Holiday Bible Club in the summer, a family came that had visited a couple of times before. We’ve made visits, but they have not come regularly. The Lord led to go by their home once again. They invited us in, and one of the older sons got saved! He is so excited about getting baptized! Pray that God will use the baptismal service to encourage more of his family to come and get saved.
That same week, we were out soul winning. At the very last door, a young mother came to the door. As the Gospel began to be presented, the Devil began fighting. Within the 40 minutes of standing at her door, her husband came home, two deliveries were made, and multiple interruptions happened from her young children. She kept her attention on the Gospel the entire time; and even though the forces of Hell fought hard, our Victor, Jesus Christ, won the battle, as she gloriously got saved! Pray for these and others that have been saved recently that they will grow in the Lord.
Jonathan had a doctor’s appointment with the specialist from last year’s health difficulties with his blurred vision, instability, and headaches. The specialist, after looking at Jonathan, stated that everything looks normal, and there is no reason to continue any treatments. From a year ago, this is a profound and wonderful answer to prayer!
As we look over 2017, it is such a blessing to see that faithfulness in prayer and support for our family. Thank you for laboring together with us. Our heart and prayer is that God will give you a fruitful and wonderful year serving our great God!
Yours for the souls of England,
Justin, Holly, David, Jonathan, Nathan, and Samuel Williams
