Juan Vallejo Prayer Letter: Blessed to Serve Our Saviour in 2020!We appreciate your prayers, giving, and consideration, as writing this letter has been a challenge with all the work going on in Sao Paulo and Cotia, Brazil. Please keep Amy in your prayers, as the doctor had planned for an emergency hysterectomy. However, after much prayer and seeking a natural treatment, she is now stable, and surgery is on hold.

God has blessed our witnessing efforts, and we want to share with you what God has done in the past few months.

We had a fun, exciting TEEN ACTIVITY with preaching, games, lunch, and soul winning! The teens had an amazing time and were very encouraged after months on lockdown. One teen girl battling depression had an incredible time and led another teenager to the Lord!

Children’s Day in October was a special day to celebrate! As our family was inviting and preparing in Cotia, Kayene, age 21, and Luiza, age 22, were working in Sao Paulo. When we arrived Sunday morning, they had decorations, 7 visitors, and a great program of games for the kids! Kayene has been faithful to church since the age of eight. We had the joy of leading several children to the Lord this month!

We celebrated 19 years of marriage in October! God has been so good! We are enjoying more date time as the children are growing!! 😊 Thank you for your prayers!!

Whether in the home, through a gate, or on a video chat, we have a mandate from the Lord. My brother Carlos came to visit us in Brazil. I was able to share the Gospel with his son’s family. They all accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour!

Esther was up at 6:00 a.m. making a cake for Amy’s birthday celebration on a Sunday! She made our anniversary cake for both churches and is always making sure everyone feels loved on their special days. As I was taking Amy to one of her many doctor’s appointments, we found Esther with this decorated table for a tea party with the teen girls. They loved learning how to make cupcakes and having someone care for them!

Thanksgiving services! We are so thankful to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for ALL HE has done! Thank you for your prayers and giving that sustain us here in Brazil! You have made it possible for us to lead at least 200 souls to Jesus Christ in these past six months.

Marcos, who was baptized recently, has a brother who lives an hour and a half away. He was hospitalized for a month with pneumonia and pleurisy (not COVID). Our church has been praying for him. Amy and I recently made a visit, shared the Gospel with the family (my wife said I talked for two hours! 😊), and the entire family trusted in Jesus Christ as Saviour!

We have been blessed to serve our Saviour! May God bless you as you continue faithfully serving our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ. He is worthy! Thank you for your prayers for our health, safety, and provision as we seek to reach the lost in Brazil!

In His service,

The Vallejo Family
