What an exciting summer we have had here in Yuma, Arizona! God has blessed us with three new families that have started attending the Liberty Baptist Church. We were also able to have our very first Backyard Bible Club. Twenty Seven were in attendance, and we had three new families bring their children to this three-day event.
We are continuing to see many people saved. This past week I traveled to Texas for two meetings. On the way home, I stopped to get a bite to eat. Standing outside the restaurant were two teenage boys. In passing, I asked them if they knew they were going to Heaven. One of the young men said, “I would not even know how to get there.” That prompted me into being able to witness to them, and both of them trusted Jesus Christ as their Saviour! Praise the Lord for His leading!
We are excited about the upcoming fall. I will be traveling from September 9 until Thanksgiving. We are going to get to work in a new church plant in Hastings, Michigan. If you could take up a special offering for this work, it would be a blessing. The pastor is Bro. Pete Petersen, and funds can be sent to his sending church, Battle Creek Baptist Temple, 3186 West Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek, Michigan 49037. The pastor there is Bro. Lyle Dye. We will then be preaching in many missions conferences throughout the fall. Please pray for safety and provision for this ministry.
